I can't begin to tell how giddy this makes me. Now I'm "obligated" to go out & see things. I'm obligated to act like a tourist in my own city & I LOVE it. The kids & I are going to go on so many adventures now that Flat Stanley is here.
I started to make clothes for Flat Stanley. He arrived quite naked. So I immediately got to the task of making him clothes. Can't be in Brooklyn, NY without clothes on. Especially when we're slated to have yet another major snowstorm.
If he had arrived just a few weeks ago, he definitely would've joined The Polar Bear Club in Coney Island. Instead his first adventure in NYC will be to the NY Aquarium. I'm going to see if the WCS staff will accommodate Flat Stanley with a picture of the seal kissing him. Fingers crossed.
