So we spent a lot of time inside. First I took the kids to story time while Stanley relaxed with his broken ankle raised up on a pillow.

I knew it was going to be the last time in a few days that we'd be able to get out & see civilization. It was nice. I enjoy story time a lot more when there aren't soooooo many folks there. Meredith enjoys it more as well. I was so proud of Sean. He sat up pretty much on his own for almost the whole 1/2 hour. I couldn't believe it. And of course he was talking the whole time.
Meredith insisted that we stop off for some "ewnuts". I have no idea why she calls them that, but it works for her. She got a chocolate raspberry filled heart shaped donut and then we got an assortment of others. Sean had his first donut today. It was a cream filled powdered chocolate donut. I thought it was heavenly. Sean concurred. Then Stanley tried to muscle in on Sean's donut & almost became lunch.

After everyone napped Rosie came to do Sean's oral motor exercises. Stanley was so excited to learn the exercises.

Then Stanley shocked us all. While we were at story time thinking he was happily resting, he went out & got something to let his mom know how much he missed her. Imagine my surprise when he showed me his new tattoo.

Geez. He's not even here a week and already he's rebelling and getting a tattoo. Then he laughed at me. He showed me that it was removable. Thank goodness too. I don't want his mom to be angry with me.
Sean finally got to sign Stanley's cast. The dr says the cast should stay on for 6-8 weeks to make sure the ankle is healed. There is only so much more room for people to sign it. Stanley is so happy so many people are sending get well wishes to him.

More adventures to come after this storm passes us.

The tattoo is soooo funny LOL!!
