I felt many things today, but the one feeling that kept coming back to me was humble. First. I was truly humbled by the generosity of others. Our team was able to raise close to $3,500 this year for the walk. We even had friends drive a very long way to walk with us.
The amount of support that people have given to us throughout our journey so far is truly amazing. I don't think I could have gotten through the trials & tribulations of raising a child with Down syndrome without your support. We have had many good times and many trying times. We've made some wonderful friends and our kids have made some amazing friends.
Happy Buddy Walk 2011!!! It was a great time and the rain held out for us :)
We had a blast and were so thrilled to be able to come and walk with you! Thank you for letting us be a part of Sean's life and your journey. He is an amazing little boy. And you are one amazing momma.
