Jackie Bear.
She is visiting us from Meredith's Tuesday class. She joined us for a weekend of fun and will be going back to school tomorrow. This week Meredith will be bringing home "Buzzy Bear" from her 3 day (M, W, F) a week class.
Because Friday was a lovely day, we spent some time in the yard coloring with chalk. Meredith & Sean fought over chose their colors carefully and Jackie Bear joined Dutchess & Brewster keeping watch. Jackie did try to color, but well.... with no thumbs it was kind of hard.
That night it rained and Jackie & Meredith sat by the window & watched the storm. Of course as soon as I got my camera something else had caught Meredith's eye.
On Saturday we explored a town called Davidson. We had breakfast at Toast and walked around a bit. Even Rob snuck in a quick bear snuggle.
Meredith ran around in the wet grass (thank goodness for rain boots) chasing her daddy while Jackie practiced flying. Who knew bears could fly?
We enjoyed having Jackie Bear visit us and we hope she'll visit again once we're really settled in. Then she can really have some adventures. Just like Flat Stanley & Flat Samantha did.
