I love how Meredith has transitioned so well into her new school. And I especially love how welcoming everyone at Meredith's school has been of Meredith. Apparently she is well loved by both the teachers and the students and that makes me sooooooo happy. I really can't ask for more.
Today was a special kind of day at school. Meredith woke up in good spirits and wanted to wear her polka dot dress. She looked very June Cleaver.
Some moms from the class & I hid the eggs before the kids came down from their pizza party and then we waited.
Then the fun began. The kids marched down and their teacher explained that they were going to search for the eggs and then when they had finished & were ready to leave they should find their mommy, daddy or "Uncle Ed".
When the teacher let them loose it was so cute to watch them head out to find their eggs. 12 each. No more.
She looked high.
She looked low.
They all stopped to count & check out the goods at some point or another.
And then continued on.
Even stopped to pose before carrying on again.
Fun was had by all. I might have had more fun than anyone watching Meredith on her first egg hunt. Watching her enjoy her time at school with her besties :)
As we were leaving Meredith was given a great responsibility. She got to take Buzzy home.
Without further ado.... I give you Buzzy.
Buzzy is the bear from Meredith's Monday, Wednesday, Friday class. She was so excited to know that she gets to take Buzzy on her adventures with her while she's off from school.
So I'm sure that Buzzy will be along for quite a ride for the next week & a half. And I promise he'll get a bath before he goes back to the school.
Have I mentioned that I'm so grateful that Lady M's school sends home teddy bears & not guinea pigs? Oh I'm grateful. More grateful than words can express.
