Where have the Scotty Rocks been?

Well.... I had to start taking a slight internet break. I had to start focusing on the positives in my life. Seeing other people's children who are the same age as Sean or younger doing things he's not doing is/was really starting to take its toll on my psyche. I'd log onto various sites to keep up with fellow Down Syndrome boards and families and I'd end up in tears. Frustrated. Angry. It started to get very toxic.

We also decided to come back to NYC for a few weeks. See the things we've been missing. Tie up some loose ends. Get some things in order for the future.

Good things are on the horizon. So we'll be back in a few weeks.

    1. They probably remembered the last time he was there & totally honked one of their noses and almost got us kicked out. LOL

  2. Yummy ice cream!

I found when I was so immersed in the internet (blogging, babycenter, etc) I had heartache with comparisons. I notice it is better not going on so much, but at the same time it is also because Cal is finally making nice gains - though still behind others his age :) Sean is truly doing awesome so just know that!
