OB Appointment went well

Today was my OB appointment. Sean is still in there and he finally flipped himself into position. Head down is the way we want him. Last week he was still breech and I was so afraid that he wasn't going to flip & I'd have to have a c-section. But he finally gave his momma something to cheer about. So I guess all the pain I have been feeling is him nestling himself in for a big journey. Isn't it amazing how they just do that?

We also asked the dr about his weight and how he compares to Meredith at the same gestational age. Meredith was in the 35th percentile for weight and Sean is in the 36th percentile. So they're very similar.

We have to go back for a growth scan on June 10th. The ultrasound showed that his femur bone may be a little "short". And then my dr looked us both up & down and said "it's probably just genetics." Thanks :) He's lucky we like him.

After that we went to lunch at the diner and being that it was way past Meredith's nap time, she was quite the cranky mess. All she wanted to do was sleep. So I told her to "lay on mommy's leg" and she promptly fell asleep. I think it was the best meal I've eaten in a very very long time. She even stayed asleep while we put her in the car and slept for an hour.

We also picked up a double stroller today. We got a great deal on the Inglesina Domino. We found it on craigslist. This woman bought it for $1200 and sold it to us for $160. She gave us 3 stroller seats, a bassinet & the chassis. So we'll keep that here so that I can just load the kids into it & take everyone (kids & dogs) for a walk. Or to take both kids to the park & have Sean just sleep in his bassinet while Meredith plays. I'll keep the Uppababy in the car. I love my Vista. I couldn't have made it through this long without. And it's much easier to fold and much lighter than the one we just picked up. So it'll be good to keep in the car and to use for jogging after Sean is here.

That's it for now. I'll update later
