My little trooper

I took Meredith to a playgroup this morning. It took her a little while to open up, but she did. She played with the toys & colored. She even made me a picture using a glue stick & crepe paper. She made flower collages with foam background & foam stickers. Of course we saw Angelina & Daniel there.












One little girl made me a picture. It was very sweet of her. And then she told me that the 5 flowers were the 5 people in my family. And I couldn't help, but wonder why she would think there were 5 people in my family. Maybe she has 5 people in her family & assumed everyone had 5. Who knows? She was very cute and she got a kick out of Meredith. I asked her to put her name on the picture she made for me because then I'd always remember who it was from. She told me she'd put it "there" and she pointed to the top corner. How cute!!



We came home and had a little something to munch on and then walked the dogs. While Meredith was in her stroller, she looked up & screamed, "MOMMY!!!!" And when I looked down she said "I 'Ove Mommy".  Oh my goodness. I think I melted right there. Of course I told her I loved her too and then she said it again. There may never have been such a sweet & tender moment shared between us. Ok maybe there have been a few, but this was so amazing. I felt so much love & pride for her at that very moment.

Then we came home & she went down for her nap. She's such an amazing little girl. I don't know what I would ever do without her. She brings such joy & happiness to my life.
