Strong Mommas

There is a group of woman that I have "met" online. They are wonderful women who continue to amaze me with the amount of support they give us every single day. I met these women when I had a miscarriage in 2007. They had also had the misfortune to join the club of having a miscarriage. No one wants to ever go through the pain & heartache of a miscarriage, but these women made it easier to deal with. They knew what I was going through.

Through the pregnancy & birth of Meredith, they were instrumental in keeping me sane and keeping my mind from wandering. Throughout the months that Meredith has been here, they have been there to hold my hand through the trials & tribulations of raising her. They have made sure I didn't feel alone when I was  having a rough day. They have made it their business to ground me when my head gets away from me. And they share in the joys of raising her. Again they knew exactly how I am feeling.

And now through my pregnancy with Sean they have been even more amazing. While quite fortunately many have not had to ever think about having a child with special needs, they have offered not only support, but also understanding. Even an understanding of things no one could understand or would want to try to understand. They continue to remind me that each & every single day will bring challenges and joys. The same way it would if Sean had no issues at all.

I can't thank them enough for walking with Rob, Meredith & me through this new journey we find ourselves on.
